Gong Bath/Sound Healing

People often ask how does sound healing work and how can it benefit me?  Sound healing is the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to the body/mind/emotions of a person with the intention of bringing them into a state of harmony and health.

During the sound healing the brain waves slow down and move from a state of wakefulness (Beta) into a meditative state, an Altered State of Consciousness,  where Alpha and Theta brainwaves predominate. Brain waves begin to lock into phase and synchronize with the sound waves produced by the instruments.

Sound can also be used to induce a state of meditation, clear energetic blockages and facilitate healing on a physical and mental level. Benefits include lower stress levels and relaxation.

Clients have reported:

  • A reduction of stress and anxiety levels
  • Lower heart rate levels
  • A sense of wellbeing and positive mood
  • Increased energy levels
  • Induced state of meditation
  • The unlocking of emotions
  • Reduced muscle tension
  • Improved sleep quality
  • Peace and tranquillity
  • Pain relief

We use a range of instruments including gongs, Tibetan and Crystal sound bowls, shamanic drums and a range of other percussions style instruments.

We run group sound healing meditation events in various locations in London and Surrey.  Personal sound healings for individuals are also available at our centre in Worcester Park in Surrey. We use Eventbrite and Meetup to promote our group events.

In India, there's a saying, 'Nada Brahman' the world is sound. Medical visionaries such as Deepak Chopra have proclaimed, "The universe is sound!" He says our bodies are orchestras that can be tuned and made healthy with music, mantras, and many other sonic modalities.

Quantum physicist Michio Kaku declared, "Everything is music." Modern physics, in fact, tells us that this dimension and others are actually composed of tiny strings that vibrate at different rates.
